Additional Information for Lip Blush Treatments 💋

For the Lip Blush procedure please follow the checklist for all permanent makeup procedures (listed above) as well as these additional pre-care instructions:

  • 1 week prior start using a good lip conditioner/mask/balm several times a day. We want to get the lips in a great condition where they are healthy and hydrated!

  • You can gently exfoliate the lips for one week prior to your appointment. You can either buy a gentle scrub or make your own using 1 drop coconut oil & 1 teaspoon of sugar to create your own scrub. (Do not over scrub the lips, we are just trying to gently remove any excess dry skin.) Always follow the scrub up with a lip conditioner/balm.

  • If you suffer from cold sores in the past, it is advised that you consult with your doctor prior to the lip blush treatment. Many clients can avoid a cold sore post procedure by taking Valtrex (prescription) 1 dose on the day of the procedure and 1/day for 3 days following the appointment. L-Lysine (vitamin supplement) is also helpful to boost your immune system and promote faster healing.

  • Many clients have had lip fillers and this is okay. I suggest having the lip blush procedure at least 4 weeks after the lip injections have been administered.

Additional Information for Eyeliners Tattoos

For the eyeliner tattoo procedure please follow the checklist for all permanent makeup procedures (listed above) as well as these additional pre-care instructions:

• Eyelash extensions should be removed 3 days prior to the procedure.

• No eyelash perm and/or tinting at least 3 days prior.

• Discontinue Retin-A one week prior to the procedure.

• No Botox around the eye area 2 weeks prior.

• Eyelash growth serums like Latisse bring extra circulation to the lash line area which results in more growth of hair/lashes. This can cause the skin to be hypersensitive and bleed easily. It is recommended to discontinue the use of these products at least 3-6 months before your treatment.

• Do not wear any eye makeup on the day of your appointment.

• If you wear contact lenses, please wear glasses on the day of your appointment.

• Please Note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.
