FAQ:
1. What is Permanent Jewelry?
Permanent jewelry (also known as infinity jewelry, bonded jewelry, or forever jewelry) is a unique method by which we fuse together two ends of a chain to create a seamless, elegant strand of gold or silver that adorns the wrist, neck, or ankle. It is a painless process that leaves you with a piece of jewelry you may shower and exercise in, and never have to worry about taking off. Permanent jewelry is a beautiful way to honor self-love, or a unique experience to commemorate the bond with your BFF, family member, or partner. It's suitable for all ages and genders, so book an appointment for you and all your loved ones!
2. What is the cost and what are the materials used?
We offer a variety of sterling silver, gold fill chains, and 14k solid gold chains that are priced based on styles.(see price list for our most popular chain styles). We also offer gold fill, Sterling silver and 14k gold charms as add ons, that you may select during your appointment. Please note, we aim to keep all chains in stock, but cannot guarantee.
Check out our IG: Linq_byblinkiss for our most updated chain and charm styles.
3. Does the process hurt?
Nope! Unlike a permanent tattoo, permanent jewelry does not actually attach to your skin. The process is completely painless and utilizes a micro laser beam to weld the chain together.
4. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, Zelle, Venmo or Credit Card payments.
5. Can I wear my permanent jewelry through TSA?
Yes! Our chains, like the rest of our entire jewelry line, are TSA friendly, so you will never need to worry about taking it off.
6. What happens if I need to take my permanent jewelry off?
Not a problem, removing your piece is easy. Gently use a pair of scissors to cut your piece at the point where we solder it. If you keep your chain, we are happy to re-attach it for a $10 fee! Please note, chains cut off anywhere besides the solder mark are not able to be re-attached on, and a new chain will have to be purchased.
7. Do you host groups or parties?
Absolutely! Planning a girls' night, baby shower, party or bachelorette event? Fortune tellers and face painters are a thing of the past - let us come to your event and adorn your guests with their own custom bracelet, anklet, or necklace and they'll leave with a special memory of the party for years to come. We would love to make your event memorable and are happy to host big groups, both in office or at your preferred destination. Please email us at linqbyblinkiss@gmail.com with your group size and event details and we'll make it happen!

14K SOLID GOLD, GOLD FILLED & STERLING SILVER JEWELRY
Our gold filled jewelry is created with an outer layer of entirely 14k gold that is pressure-bonded to the brass base metal and contains at least 5% gold by weight. This technique is more durable than plating and vermeil and provides a longer life span for your pieces when provided with the right care. Gold fill is safe and hypoallergenic. Please be cautious if you have an allergy to brass as our gold filled jewelry still contains this metal and your skin may have a reaction. Gold fill Jewelry is second only to solid gold in terms of quality and is the best affordable option when it comes to durability and longevity.
Gold filled jewelry often requires very low maintenance but please follow our care instruction. Gold filled jewelry is the most durable than gold plate or vermeil but will still need some self-love every 30 days. Dawn soap and water.
Though our 14k solid gold, gold filled & Sterling Silver pieces are long lasting, we still do not recommend them coming in direct contact with lotions, oils, perfumes, or ocean/pool water. This can dull your pieces and reduce their shine. Clean your jewelry more frequently if you live a more active lifestyle.
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
The pH of your skin may react to metal jewelry. Not getting enough water? In a humid environment? Put a little extra lotion on? Even high-quality metal jewelry can sometimes leave a green tint when the metals react with the acidity of your skin. It can also be caused by other substances on your skin, such as lotion, oils, or perfumes. Luckily, this tint is completely harmless. An easy way to remove this is to apply rubbing alcohol or makeup remover to a cotton pad and gently wipe down the affected area on your skin.
If you have a known allergy to brass, please be aware when purchasing our gold-filled jewelry. While gold fill has an outer layer of 5-10% 14k gold over brass, it still contains brass as a base metal and skin highly sensitive to brass may be affected. For these customers, we recommend sterling silver or solid gold jewelry. All of our pieces are hypoallergenic.
Gold jewelry may vary slightly in color. This is because, unless it is 24k (meaning 100% gold), it’s a mixture of gold and other metals (called gold alloy). 24k solid gold is quite soft and can easily dent and scratch, making it less durable for everyday use. 14k gold is 14/24 or about 58% gold, and about 42% other metals - this is the most common gold selection due to its durability. The particular mixture of metals gives gold alloy its own hue and tone which can vary slightly.
